This weekend, State Representative candidate Bob Walsh visited with local artists exhibiting at the 59th Annual Spanish Market on the plaza in Santa Fe, where he listened to concerns about the challenges of living and working as an artist in Santa Fe.
Most of all realize that that Santa Fe is a special place in large part because of the diverse group of artists, writers and other creative people who call the City Different home. But the economy, the mismanagement of our state budget and the local business climate is making it increasingly difficult for artists to live here -- and that makes Santa Fe less livable, less prosperous and less "different" for all of us.
